A person who “spiritually identifies” as an animal but somehow still uses Wi-Fi and DoorDash. Says they didn’t choose it, they were “born this way,” even though most found out after binge watching TikTok edits of wolves to lofi beats. Claims they get “shifts” where they feel animalistic usually ends in them crawling on all fours or growling at their mom. Actual nature knowledge: zero. Ask them what a theriotype is and they’ll say “my inner fox.” Ask them why they don’t hunt squirrels or pee outside and suddenly it’s metaphorical. Basically: identity crisis but make it fuzzy.

Example:
“Don’t judge me, I’m a Therian.”
Bro you barked at the teacher and ran on all fours in a school hallway—what exactly did you want us to do, clap?

Therian

A therian is someone who identifies as an animal on a non-physical level. They may identify as an animal spiritually or mentally. They may animalistic behavior such as the urge to hunt, jump, growl or bark

(by the way, we don't bark at people, being a therian isn't a choice and we know we are human.)

Side note: Furries and Therians are not the same thing.

Examples:
"I mentally identify as fox, therefore, I am a therian."
"They are a therian and they spiritually identify as a coyote."
