a person who has no life because they live in the rural United States, far away from urban civilization. these people wish for nothing more than to experience the urban lifestyle, to live in a walkable city where they can experience a more diverse cultural landscape and actually go to social events to meet other people like themselves, which can be perceived as exceedingly rare or absent in rural areas.

particularly common with queer people and kids who came home after attending college in a big city.
