Stating that the current situation, or past situation, would have drastically improved due to the possession of the AWP sniper rifle.
Player 1: Hmm, I believe I'll test out my shotgun skills today, instead of hanging out in my little sniper spot.
1337 h4x0r: Hahaha!
*1137 h4x0r kills Player 1 twenty three times in a row.*
Player 1: >.O ...I blame the lack of AWP...

A player in CSGO who is legit god himself when it comes to the awp. Legends speak tales of his work when an awp is bestowed in his hands. When he has an awp, its a guaranteed win.

To discard an AWP for the sake of your teammate in any Counter-Strike franchise. It is also used as a mating call by Russian players to attract others who have an AWP at their disposal.

Acronym for 'Arctic Warfare Police' (Sniper Rifle).
Sniper Rifle by Accuracy International.
Previously known as the L96A1.
In service since 1982.
An overrated and overpowered sniper rifle from CS:GO. It's a one-shot kill anywhere above the legs and it's often used by whinny kids that want to show everyone that they're pros at the game, even though most of the time they're in fucking Silver (myself included). If you wanna show 'em that so fucking GUD, use the Scout. It's got faster firerate and movement speed and it's a one-shot kill to the head only, so it requires more skill. I'm not saying that the AWP is the easiest gun to use, considering the fact that it has a very slow firerate and movement speed (although it's higher than the Negev's), but since it's a one-shot kill gun, it isn't that hard to use it either.
One of the AWP's first appearances in video games was in the original 'Counter Strike'.
