my parents had to listen to "yay, i got to level 60 woodcutting" and even more, my friends who had told me it was crap, were hooked, we were geeks and we got rejected. then my brother started. we were mesmorised by the quests and the addiction. we scavenged money to be members. i don't know if my parents were frightened but i was addicted and now i have NIGHTMARES every three or four months about being addicted to the game. In october, we had spent all of our money and couldn't be members, my brother and i fought. then i decided to put a stop to it. I asked jagex to disable my account. then i told my friends to stop and look at themselves and asked them is this where you want to be

Get the runescape mug.they followed me and i supported them. we went a couple of days without it, though we wanted to play, but we knew what was best for us. weeks went, and we realised it was stupid. months went, jagex made "improvements" now, nearly a year without playing, i never want to set foot (a figurative foot) near this again. Now, i am into a comfortable hobby of plastic modelling and other aircraft related subjects and are concentraiting on that or school and socialising in my spare time.

Noun- The worlds largest free MMORPG.
There are countless goals to accomplish in the game, such as maxing your skills, unlocking ancient magicks, and PKing.
Runescape's gameplay is very dull, though because everything in it is the same repetitive clicking.
Not to mention all the overcrowding, lag, and high population of obnoxious 12-year-olds.
All in all, this game can be as addictive as crack and as boring as watching paint dry at the same time.

Get the Runescape mug.Runescape is a MMORPG, or Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (mouthfull, isn't it?), made be JAGEX, and it runs in Java. This game is fun, if you know how to play it. If you spend days trying to chop to 99, you'll be bored. There's over 20 skills to train, although most are for P2P only. There's also over 400 quests, with 150 for free to plays, the rest are long, but for P2P. The game is highly addictive, but if you pace yourself, you know when enough it enough. Set goals (they have a system for that) and leave notes. You can also give yourself parental controls, to not play too much. Make sure you make yourself 13, or else you can't talk. There's noobs, there's some bots, and there's some jerks.
