Not given an invite to a group function. Usually because of character flaw by the inviter rather than non invitee.

Justin was given the classic no invite! by perceived friends. He recognized the problem was them and not him. He didn’t want invite anyway.

Terra Invicta

A motto in Latin, meaning "Earth Undefeated". Generally used alongside other pan-humanist concepts, such as the recent "indomitable human spirit", "we were born to inherit the stars" and "humanity first" trends in memes. It is also the name of a video game, primarily about resisting an alien occupation.
In a modern context, it is usually used when the human situation is dire. For example:

"The invaders have dropped kinetics on Earth, but we won't give in. Terra Invicta!"
"We can click our heels and scream Terra Invicta until the stars grow dim, but Earth is gone." -Grand Design
"Even if there are only a handful of us left, or if only our machines survive, as long as some being in the cold universe defies its will, as long as someone gives it their all with a muttered "Terra Invicta" on their lips, humanity, and Earth, will live on!

Empty invitations

When someone really don't want you to go with them but they offer anyways knowing you absolutely cannot go ,that's an empty invitation and it makes them feel good cuz at least they offered.

My boyfriend's such a jerk he's always offered me empty invitations so he thinks that makes him a good guy.
