A word used and invented by African Americans to abolish the negative word 'nigga' typically used in a derogatory fashion to stereotype blacks, and turn it into a positive word 'nigga'. It's meaning: homeboy, friend, buddy, pal, bro.
Although the word 'nigga' is used mostly by the younger hip-hop generation (including white boys) it is also found offensive and not accepted by the older generation of African Americans.
