Convention-down

Also known as "con-down". The feeling of sadness you get after a convention is over. What type of convention is irrelevant, as long as it is a group of like-minded people that you feel like you belong to.

Can also be used to describe the feeling of loneliness after having spent time with a partner, especially in a long distance relationship.

Person 1: Aww man, I wish that convention lasted longer...
Person 2: Dude, you have convention-down.

don't let down

Although "Don't let down (me)" sounds like the opposite to "Don't leave hanging(me)" the two phrases are synonymous Both phrases are about support or more precisely about losing needed support. If you ask another not to let you down you're asking that person not to take away their support. On the other hand if you ask a person not to leave you hanging, again you are asking them not to take away their support and leave you "hanging"

I need your help, please don't let down (me). I'm depending on your help, don't leave hanging (me).

Pens pencils down

The deafening phrase used in the torturous chambers of a math class. This phrase is said while banging on the desk with a ruler, preferably breaking it, simply for the satisfaction gained from your pain. There is no annoyance like this one, as this will happen at any sudden moment. There is no reason behind why it is said, or if it is for specific situations. However all I know is after experiencing this, you will see the world for what it truly is. Beware.

Class: *Completely silent*
Teacher: *suddenly banging ruler on desk* PENS PENCILS DOWN
Class: *sobbing* Ms please, we are doing nothing wrong...
*ruler shatters*
