Polly's Law

Any time you are debating on the internet or offline, someone will inevitably bring up trans people as a talking point.

Similar to Godwin's law, which is a rule of internet discourse re: Hitler. Polly's law is an example of a logical fallacy.

Inspired by twitch streamer PollyPeople.
"Yeah, well okay, you're wrong because you support men using the women's bathroom!"
"Stop invoking Polly's Law. Geez."

Cannon Law

"Because" or "Because I said so" A law invoked when asked the question why, after reasons have already been explained or to altogether avoid a question. More commonly used in the business world as a freebie pass to ignore an annoying person's question. Once used by Chris Brown when questioned by media after his release from detainment in PG County, following an assault on a homosexual male. Other celebrities are also using this term. Origination unknown.
i.e. After explaining a long a long marketing scheme in full detail, Jim asks John(the presenter) a stupid or irrelevant question. John simply responds back " thank you for your question, at this time, I am invoking Cannon Law. Next question"

Tarryk's Law

A grammar/spelling error dramatically increases the chances that a meme will go viral.
1.) Moreso than likes, Facebook algorithm will increase the frequency of a post appearing on the feeds of friends & followers if it receives comments.
2.) A meme with grammar/spelling errors will always get more comments than the same meme without errors, due to the people who cannot resist pointing out the error.
3.) The meme with flaws will go viral long before the meme without flaws.
Result: Most of the viral memes you see on Facebook have at least one infuriating grammar/spelling error.
"My meme went viral before I realized it had a spelling error."
"Tarryk's Law strikes again."
