Ullapool Smile

The scars left behind after stapling one's cheeks from the sides of the mouth to the ears, then removing the staples by hand, leaving a series of scars similar in design to a Glasgow Smile.

My work colleague told me about a friend of his in high school who would actually staple his own cheeks with a stapler for fun. He joked that he scars he got didn't create a Glasgow Smile, but rather what he called an "Ullapool Smile".

Smile Squad

A formerly funny group of people who hilariously simulated awkward social issues and people. Nowadays, it has been almost nothing but reposts of videos when Sam Li and de facto leader Kurt Tocci were still in the group, and loads of "What it's like to have a friend from (insert country here)" implying they've run out of ideas and are trying to stay relevant despite this.

Smile Squad was good until Kurt left, and it only got worse when Sam left.

Canadian smile

Similar to the “white boy smile” but with more of raised eyebrows. Canadian smile is used when walking by someone and not knowing what to do so you make the awkward Canadian smile at them, usually paired with a slight nod.

“I was on a walk the other day and this guy on the other side of the street caught eye contact with me and we both Canadian smiled it was pretty awkward”
