Mariah Tax

This is an annual 8.3% tax deducted from everyone's lifetime and given to Mariah Carey.

Every December (1/12th of the year), Mariah Carey's Christmas career, especially her single "All I Want for Christmas Is You", dominates the media and becomes inescapable. Her Christmas media permeates all corners of society and becomes impossible for people to avoid.

Emily: "Wanna go to Florida next week?"
Joseph: "Let me check to see if I have any leftover time after this year's Mariah Tax."

Manual Tax

The obligatory price hike, often at least a grand, on any used vehicle which has a manual transmission.

Guy 1: "So I'm thinking of selling my old Mitsubishi Sigma wagon. Been parked a while, I don't even know if it still runs."
Guy 2: "Auto or Manual?"
Guy 1: "Uh, manual. Why?"
Guy 2: "Put it on an auction site and start the bidding at a thousand. Manual Tax."

asshole tax

An undisclosed sales tax charged to everyone else on most (if not all) things sold at retail stores nationwide due to the selfish actions of a select few assholes. Such actions that these assholes are guilty of include shoplifting, holding up the line in the store while trying to bargain down the price of a certain item in order to avoid paying high price for such item, and lastly, just being a plain dick to the cashier or to other retail workers all while asking to speak to the manager.

Don't be a dick to the cashier while at the Target or you'll be charged an asshole tax!!

Man Tax

The payment made by men, in which a man voluntarily submits to giving a piece of food/candy/drink/ whatever he has on/infront/beside him, to his spouse.

Max tax is always:

1. Non-financial in nature, and/or
2. Intrinsically associated with relationships/ marriage/ situationships, and/or
3. Contains zero calories, and

4. Initiated by the spouse.

And not to be confused by Tax Man.

1. Time to pay your Man Tax! *Continues to eat the man's fries.*
2. I know I have to pay Man Tax, to I order extra fries.
