Something that is good for awhile, but not meant to last in the long term. Temporary, and fulfilling a purpose of a relatively superficial nature.

Lucy and I were fwb for a couple of months, she was a good runner.

That car wasn't what I wanted, but it got me through the summer. It was a good runner.

Forrest Gump Runner

A person who is some times typically "homeless" or skips/runs to another city or town and camps for awhile then moves on.

(Aka like "Forrest Gump"....when he ran across the country except a lot slower and homeless.)

Hmmmm...I think I seen that homeless "Forrest Gump Runner" back in Athens not 50 miles from here a week ago.

Came from Silent Hill 2 forest trail run meme, a Fog Runner is a person (usually men) who feels lost in life and has no idea on how to take the next step in life due to their plans (usually during high school) not working out. or
