Everyday my metal friend,
Shakes my bed at 6 AM
And the shining serving clones,
Run in with my telephones
Holding fast to make a deal,
Buy what's fake and sell what's real
What's this pain here in my chest?
Maybe I should take a rest
They send the heart police to put you under
cardiac arrest,
As they drag you through the door,
They tell you that you failed the test
Living in the...
Living in the plastic age,
Looking only half my age
Hello doctor, lift my face,
I wish my skin could stand in place
In my bed I read my mind,
Remember how the mice were blind?
They look so frightening in their cage,
Could this be the plastic age?

A person who portrays them self as ethically and spiritually sound but, are contradicting to their beliefs. The organic nature of the cucumber refers to the morals of the individual, who usually preaches ones morality. The plastic wrapping is a metaphor of the betrayal to their own beliefs. For example; Nathaniel is an outspoken advocate for the prevention of animal cruelty but can be often found at 3am eating at McDonalds.

pretentious eco shopping bag that's meant for shallow scenesters who wish to publicly flout their trendy 'green' credentials in a hypocritical, peacockish manner. Expect them to be quietly discarded when they are no longer considered 'cool'.
If all those scenesters and upmarket chavs care so much about the environment rather than appearing fashionable, why don't they just buy less showy, cheaper, nondescript cotton/canvas bags instead of bidding hundreds on ebay for that faddish 'i am not a plastic bag' bag?
