We were about to get in the shower when he sees me seeing this tattoo on his chest, and he dee-bee-effed me for, like, almost ten minutes about how the ink was for his friend, how great his friend was, how funny his friend was, how cool his friend was....

Get the deesmug. Deeba is Bulgarian swear expression which originally comes from "da go eba" which literally means "to fuck it" but the semantics of this word refers to the English "fuck". Commonly used for expressing anger or dissatisfaction but can be heard from the mouth of a very joyful person expressing happiness, joy or pleasure of something as many others Bulgarian swear words. It's usually used in the beginning or the end of a sentence but can be met and as a single word. Other Bulgarian words with the same meaning but with little difference in the pronunciation are "deba" "deiba" and "da go eba".
