When you want to join in on a group conversation, but no one heard your input, so you end up getting ignored. This can be intentional or unintentional. Tends to happen in big social groups or with less talkative individuals.

Killing a conversation with a stupid question or lol with no plan or something like that. It is generally frowned upon and shows disrespect and uninterest in conversation.
