Used when describing a person on the website "Facebook." Power Stalking is when someone comments/likes a post in under a minute from when it was posted. In order for it to be Power Stalking, the person has to do this at least 3 times before declaring it a Power Stalk.

To search for (to google) someone on the internet, out of a social curiosity or a general interest. The phrase implies a benevolent intent. It is meant to convey that the person doing the search is taking care to avoid being intrusive and to respect common social boundaries.
I stalked you gently online before I came over today. There was not much to find! You don't have many posts on your social media.

Going on urban dictionary to read through every definition listed for the name of your crush, S.O., best friend, or yourself. Usually includes thumbing up any definition for that name which is general enough to fit the best aspects of the person whose name you are stalking. May also include a thumbs down for any definitions that cast a negative light on them. Also, though less frequent, may include thumbing up negative definitions of exes/people you dislike.
I just spent two hours name-stalking Matt, my hottie boyfriend. I thumbed up every definition that fit him.
