Get the emomug. Emo is a life style usually an Emoperson wears black and only black unless it’s on a band shirt than some dark colors are used. There best friend is there Guitar. There hair usually is long and has bangs that cover one eye.They listen to punk rock, hard rock, and Metal. The only place to shop if your Emo is hot topic, and Emo’s usually suffer of depression, and like to have time alone sheltered from the World.

Get the Emomug. Emo stands for emotional hardcore, and started with bands like Rites of Spring in the 1980s. It then dipoed in popularity until bands like Dashboard Confessional and Fall Out Boy re-invented emo into subgenres like emo-pop amd indie-emo. It does not mean cutting, being depressed or gay.

Get the emomug. Emo is a music scene started in the mid '80s, as an offshoot of punk. Emo is, despite stereotypes, not all about cutting and suicide and crying. Emo is simply EMOtional. It's a music genre, and a state of mind.
People often hate on Emo because it's not "normal" or because it's cooler than them. These people are not cool. If someone insults you because you are a true emo, just ignore them or make a witty, intelligent comeback.
