Among Us

A video game that was created in 2018 by Innersloth and somehow blew up in late 2020. It started to die out in early 2021, partially due to a stupid update which added "quick chat", a weird chat system that isn't quick at all, according to literally everyone. In March-April 2021, innersloth added a new map, called "the airship", alongside the accounts update, which was hated by the Among Us community, mainly because it was very buggy. Afterwards, they decided to change the art style, add new colors and 11-15 player lobbies. I think they've also added new roles. At the time I'm writing this, it's 2022 and the game is somehow still alive, especially the unfunny, overused memes, like "When the imposter is sus!!1!1!1!1!", which I see ALL THE DAMN TIME! Like, can Among Us just die already?

Among Us player: Hey, wanna play Among Us?
Me: Isn't it dead?
Among Us player: What? Of course not!
Me: ...
Among Us player: So, do you wanna play or not?
Me: No.
Among Us player: Why?
Me: I don't play Among Us.
Among Us player: But you did.
Me: Exactly, "DID". It's in past tense. I don't play it anymore.
Among Us player: Please!
Me: No.
Among Us player: Pretty please!!
Me: No!
Among Us player: Why not?

Me: Because I don't play Among Us!
Among Us player: BUT YOU DID!
Me: I DON'T PLAY AMONG US ANYMORE! WHY CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT?
Among Us player: Please! It will be fun!!!!!!!
Me: Fuck off!

Among Us player: Did you just swear?!?!?!?!?!!?!
Me: Yeah, grow up.
Among Us player: *starts crying* Why won't you play Among Us with me?
Me: Are you seriously crying?
Among Us player: *cries*
Me: Yeah, I'm out. Find someone else to piss off.
