A third-party accessory that makes childhood do no longer look like childhood anymore — it's akin to the third-party mod "Ultimate Immersion" that make Minecraft do no longer look like Minecraft. BTW, the "vanilla", unmodded version of childhood consists of doing sports, playing outside, reading physical books, and hanging out with friends.

With all this screentime, my kids barely know what a real childhood looks like anymore!

An insulting nickname intended to shame a person who is addicted to technological devices with screens (phones, iPads, tvs) resulting in cognition decline and lack of motivation due to dopamine depletion.
