Scouse chuck

An act in which a person, upon entering a shower and suddenly have an urge to defecate, craps into their hand and throws it across the bathroom into the toilet, rather than leaving the shower.

"I was already in the shower, so I just scouse chucked it. I figured if it went in then it went in, but if it missed, well, I was going to leave the shower to crap anyway - may as well chance it. As it happened it I landed the shot, but it hit the backboard."

when a large number of scouse prins wear the same clothes and post them on instagram to the point where no one can wear them without cringing

e.g. denim jackets with puffed sleeves, tights with hearts on, biker boots with buckles, the term “dewy skin and fluffy brows,” any dress made by a liverpool designer etc. have all been scouse prinned in 2019

The Scorsese Effect

Named after filmmaker Martin Scorsese, the "Scorsese Effect" is when a work of art is created to negatively portray a character or group of people, but unintentionally inspires fans to try and imitate them. Usually these people misunderstand the point of the film and think the message was to try and be like the protagonist. Many of Scorsese's movies are centered around characters like these, such as "The Wolf of Wall Street," "Taxi Driver," and "Goodfellas".

Other examples include "Fight Club," "Breaking Bad," "The Sopranos," and the Joker.

Guy 1: Doesn't Mark understand the point of Fight Club was to show what can happen when men try to compartmentalize their anger and aggression into physical violence?

Guy 2: Yeah, it's the Scorsese Effect at work.

Mark: We live in a society.

Person from Liverpool.

The nice ones are really nice, ie very friendly & chatty, like to take the mickey out of all and sundry and as honest and trustworthy as the day is long.

Bad ones are quite possible the most irritating people ever met, with large chips on their shoulder who whinge a lot and can't be trusted as far as they can be thrown.

Visitors from other countries (and also from the UK) can generally not always understand scousers with strong accents.

eg.
Good - Ken Dodd (except for the whole tax evasion thing)

Bad - Wayne Rooney (despite the obvious talent on the field)
