Follied

An adjective describing a person who got too drunk at a formal event, usually in a professional setting, when getting that drunk is inappropriate.

For example, a medical school class puts on a function for students and professors to celebrate the end of the year, and the students are falling over from taking advantage of the open bar.

"Did you see (insert name) at the Rusty Scupper last night?"
"Oh yeah, (s)he got follied."

The act of deliberately doing nothing; no matter how many responsibilities or important tasks you have to do, you do a mindless one instead. Leaving you in a constant state or self-destructive tendencies.
