Word Breakdown:
Endo (prefix)- Internal, or within
Existence (noun)- the state of having actual reality
Backstory of the Word:
I noticed that the Lexico Dictionary defines "existence" as "the state of having objective reality", and it defines "objective" as "not depending on the mind for existence". I found this to be a paradox. If something depends on the mind for existence, then that means that something has existence but can't have it without the mind, yet still that something cannot have existence even if the mind is present, because existence means to NOT depend on the mind for existence. And then this cycle of self-contradiction repeats. So, to include things like emotions and mental disorders into the category of "existence", I coined the term "endoexistence" on August 19th, 2021. This way we can describe things that are only present in a person's mind and only perceived or experienced by that person who's perceiving or experiencing it. And, it won't feel like denial when people who are affected by psychoactive drugs and schizophrenia reassure themselves that what they are experiencing isn't exoexistent, which means "to exist outside of the mind".

Get the endopeptidase mug.In simple terms, it’s when somebody claims to be born a system or was formed without trauma, and is an umbrella term for all non-traumagenic plurality (from what I’ve heard, don’t take this as absolute fact). They are harmful to people with DID/OSDD, whether they realize it or not. However, there is a very low chance that someone claiming to be an endogenic has forgotten their actual trauma, although this is highly unlikely.
They get a lot of hate online, whether it’s because they’re seen as “stupid” or “idiots” or whatever. Though, this doesn’t make whatever actual problems they have any less important because there is a chance that it was a misdiagnosis or missed diagnosis, with an example being BPD, as BPD splitting is similar to DID/OSDD splitting.

This refers to a system formed without trauma. Contrary to popular belief, it is not related to faking DID, or any other trauma formed disorders. Plurality/systems are only one symptom of such disorders and are not a defining characteristic, therefore the myth is disproven. Endogenic systems may or may not be voluntarily formed.
