1. When you think that you are going to burp, but then accidentally barf (throw up, puke, etc.)

2. When a burp is so powerful, that it causes you to barf (throw up, puke, etc.)

Guy 1: man last night, I drank alot of rootbeer and I thought I was just going to burp, but then instead I let out burf everywhere

Guy 2: Yeah man, I hate it when that happens.
