A strange feeling of discomfort and agony that occurs when a piece of media (be it a song, a movie, a videogame, a book, etc.) that you are extremely fond of which was once relatively unknown to the general public suddenly becomes extremely mainstream via social media or some other means of publicity, thus kinda ruining the personal connection you had made with that piece of media.
*End of Beginning by Djo plays quietly in the background from a small Bluetooth speaker*
"Man, I used to really like Napoleon Dynamite but then everyone started quoting it all the time."
'Same here man, that's a classic case of The Djo Effect.'

The effect where anyone learns about or becomes friends with Ariana Greenblatt they turn into a chill baddie with style. No one knows why this happens, but its spreading to teenage girls all over the internet.
Random fan: "Yo, have you seen Madi Filpowicz's new TikTok? She looks so different."
Smart fan: "Nah, its just the Ariana Greenblatt effect."

The act of becoming so incredibly stuck up while embracing annoying behavior by never shutting up about Quixel Mixer software to the point that you become a village idiot.
Did you see that guy today on Discord? he ported a tree from quixel and continued posting about it for 3 hours straight, must be The Quixel Effect!

An ironic occurrence when two situations happen either at the same time, or different times. When the blamed or the two people responsible (One at occurrence 1, one at occurrence 2) give strange but similar response or backup story. One will be lying and one will actually be telling the truth.
One person would accidentally break a peice of equipment, and the other person was accused of stealing something. Both of the people accused know nothing about the other or seen each other, but the person blaming both of them know them a certain way. Both of them give the same statement.
"I did not do it, I wouldn't have anything to do with it, why think I do such a thing?"
One is lying, one is innocent. Stillusion Effect was occurring.

Thew dated a girl named “gabby “ Come to find out it was 100% imaginary due to the 0 factual evidence of the relationship existing so the Gabby effect is used as the phenomenon in witch a person declares they are dating somebody but it’s actually 100% imaginary due to the lack of evidence of the relationship existing

the CG5 effect is where a meme dies or falls under controversy after the YouTube music star CG5 (Charles "Charlie" Duncan Green V) makes a music video about a that meme. The first example of the CG5 effect was the CG5 song "Find Da Wae" a song about the Uganda Knuckles meme which saw a massive decline after the release of the song on YouTube in February. The most well know and most popular example of the CG5 effect was the Grimace Shake song that was instantly killed just days after CG5 made the song. Rest. In. Peace all of the the memes that were killed by the CG5 Effect
