Equivalent to the bodies autonomic system, controlling multiple human instincts that are essential to survival such as empathy, communication skills, manners, respect, feelings vs opinions distinction, the pick your battles instinct, and a common desire to support friends and family unconditionally.
1)When one lacks common sense one becomes driven by self serving interests rather then worry about others resulting in a lack of human connection and in time, humanity itself.
