Get the Larry mug.Obscure southern Wisconsin slang for Chinese food, thought to have originated in affluent Latino neighborhoods in L.A. The fact that fortune cookies were invented in San Francisco is a meaningless coincidence. Though the meaning has gradually expanded to loosely encompass all Asian cuisine, it still refers primarily to Chinese buffet restaurants that feature a Mongolian BBQ. No one really knows why.
