standard banter is a form a messing/joking around. it is jokes are are funny between mates which are mild and not overly offensive. standard banter is kept usually between friends as if not it is considered harsh and therefore unstandard.

"Who's dog is that"
"Its your mum"
then someone may say "standard banter" as they have just been mocked

Generally a gay man's acronym which simply stands for Broke And No Trade. In other words a gay man with no money and a small penis.

After visiting a man's home and having a romp you realize that the person doesn't have a nice house and car, no visible signs of success/money and nothing impressive between the legs. Next time you see him with when you're with your friends you mention "I hung with him the other night and found out he was BANT, so stay away!"
