Rabbit fear

An exceptionally extreme type of fear that causes a person to flee like mad from something that can easily be harmless, as if running from a murderous gunman, like how a rabbit runs from everything larger than it. The type of fear in which even the sound of a windblown leaf sends a person fleeing like mad, as if fleeing from the gun, to where it can cause injury to anyone in the person's way.

Rabbit fear of a popping toy balloon caused a huge mad stampede at the local shopping mall that left several people injured.

The woman that leapt out of her seat and ran from the sound of the wind in the trees had rabbit fear.

Rabbit fear of a CD player at the airport resulted in an evacuation of the terminal.

Her rabbit fear of men eventually caused all men to avoid her completely.

Americas worst fear

Americans have many fears. All unique, but all Americans have one fear installed in them at birth.... It is a trigger word to some, like sou hiyori. That word being, job applications. It offends some, and it scares everyone. Deeming it Americas worst fear.
