Dropsies

A physical disorder having to do with the aging in which more implements handled are dropped. The condition is aggravated by advanced age to a point where loved ones of elderly people do not hand anything of value their elderly charges.

There was no way I was going to give all the small, green tent stakes to granpa on our annual family camping trips because we have to pass through an area with very tall bushes there. Granpa just has too advanced a case of the Dropsies to chance it.

Dutch word for black noses (on pets/animals). Directly translates to "liquorice nose", because of the shiny black look of liquorice. Often used as a petname.
