Get the Drop a Gangstamug. Originating in the Early 90s, a gangsta bitch is a hip hop term for a woman who dressed in male baggy clothes (baggy jeans, Timberland boots, bandanna etc), similar to a stereotype of what male a ‘hip hop’ type thug from that era would wear.
Popular singers and rappers like Aaliyah took the style into the Early/mid 2000s where it eventually died off.
However it can still be seen today by some girls who are into the hip hop dance scene and chose not to dress in a sexually suggestive way like their mainstream peers.
