They argue with you and defend their viewpoint citing academic models. They describe themselves and the world in terms of models like Clifton Strengths, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), DiSC and other models.
Why are they peddlers? Because they are trying to sell you on models to avoid having you discover they can't think for themselves. They are hiding their insecurities, personality deficiencies, and are intellectually disingenuous. Also known as a model whore or model guy.
