A mental disorder chracterised by great difficulty in using social media for its intended purpose, instead choosing to share too much personal information in an inappropriare forum.

Recentlt divorced Debbie has just finished feeding her 7 cats when she decides to post "Someone told me you're too pretty to be single, and I said 'No, I'm too pretty to be lied to, cheated on and treated like shit'".

Debbie has internet autism and should not be using social media.

A term used to describe a person with autistic spectrum disorder. It can be used as both a loving term when dating an autistic person or a friendly playful term when friends with one. Best used with people with higher functioning autism as they will understand it as not a hostile name.

girlfriend- "hey autie can we go out for a meal tonight"?
boyfriend- "ok babe where do you want to go"?

friend 1- "You ok autie"?
friend 2- "yeah Im good"

Autist

An offensive term used by arrogant twats to dehumanise an individual diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Those who use the term are usually middle to upper class, have minimal to no understanding of how autism affects the person and probably don't have any loved ones affected by it.

I vehemently disagree with discrimination towards anyone including those with autism and absolutely despise people who use the term autist.
