When a certain thing or person acts in a gay fashion (slang: Stupid; Idiotic, Jose), this phrase can take the place of one such as "You are a gay fag."
If I said "You are a gay person," "If _____ was a boy it would like other boys," could be substituted instead. For example "If Pikachu were a boy it would like other boy Pikachus."

A sarcastic phrase meant to reveal a deceptive statement that downplays the significance of fundamental events.
"Other than killing him, I never heart him!" ... - Other than that, how was the play, Mrs. Lincoln?
"Other than all the names I called her, I never bulled her!" ... - Other than that, how was the play, Mrs. Lincoln?

"The grass is always greener on the other side" is a statement used in the English language when one notices cows in a pasture stretching their necks through openings in the fence to get the green, uncut grass, on the other side.
Person #1: Why is the cow trying to stick his head through the fence?
Person #2: To get the grass.
Person #1: Why don't they just eat the grass in their pasture?
Person #2: Because, the grass is always greener on the other side.
Person 1: Is that cow trying to choke itself?
Person 2: No. It's trying to get grass. The grass is greener on the other side.
