Trumping is when a person has clearly lost at something, yet is absolutely delusional to reality and they think they have won. Said person keeps on acting as if they are the winner, despite all facts pointing to the contrary. Even when reality sets in, they try to grasp at anything they can to try and reverse their loss while maintaining the facade of a fake winner.
