Moronic people who live in cities/towns with little to no knowledge of practical life skills. Usually incapable of surviving on their own. Not used to physical labor or outdoors, yet have large egoes and superiority complexes, considering themselves better than non-townies.

word originates in rural southern Illinois.

(townie) "Hey can you tell me where they grow chocolate milk

cows?"

(non-townie) "You dumb ass townie."

The entirety of Creation in its beauty, cruelty and harmony, is the expression of Divine thought and is the materialization, or body of God. People that live in towns and cities don't get that. They are removed from all of it.

All of history can be summed up by the difference between townies and regular folk as such:

A person who lives in the same community their entire life or the vast majority of their life. Generally, refers to individuals who reside in a smaller city or the suburbs.

Some characteristics of townies include:

-Hangout with their high school friends

-Enjoy checking out the “new local joint”
-Scoff at places they’ve never been
-‘Big fish in a small pond’ mentality

townie town

Dense Suburban “cute” town with a upscale charming downtown setting with tons of restaurants, breweries, wine tasting rooms, art galleries, pastry shops, cocktail bars. The New York of New Jersey but nicer and charming with a sense of community: Cranford-Westfield-Summit-Millburn. Townie Town refers to more than just a town you live in but the feeling it of community and connection it brings.

I love living in a townie town! There’s so much to do in downtown! You can grab your coffee and pastry and sit on a bench in the circle under the clock with the passing sounds of the train. (This is more than just any town with a train. The feeling is more like being on a movie set)
