Rain Tolerance

The concept that people who live in dry, sunny environments, can build a tolerance to the negative effects of rain on their normal going-out habits, if it rains enough in a short amount of time.

Bob: Hey Sally, I know its raining like cats and dogs but you wanna go out and hit the town tonight?
Sally: Yea sure! I've built up a serious rain tolerance the past couple weeks. I just want it to be sunny again!!

Server: Hey Carlos restaurant manager how busy do you think we will be tonight? Probably pretty slow huh? It hasn't rained like this in five years!!
Carlos: Brace yourself, taking rain tolerance into account, this may be one of the busiest night of the year.
