Get the Emo Hickmug. Emo is a music genera that was popularized in the late 90's and early 2000's
the music usually is very emotional hints the name, the music might also deal with topics that people may connect or relate too.
some classic emo bands are :
- Taking back Sunday
- The get up kids
- sunny day real estate
- dashboard confessional
- american football
- Fall out boy (earlier )
- the used
emo is also represented through fashion, some common pieces that emos might wear is studded belts , black skinny jeans, band tees , converse or vans and lots of band/fandom bracelets and choker necklaces ,etc .
and people that are 'emo' can tend to be emotional or sensitive but not all the time.

Get the Emomug. I'm getting a little tired of all those old ass definitions talking about shitty music genres and scarves because in 2014 "emo music" has nothing to do with fucking acoustic guitars. And I'm sure in a little while my definiton will be outdated too. So for 2014 here is the definition.
1) emo is short for emotional
2) the new music genre is called screamo and has a lot of electric guitar and is closely related to metal. So please shut the fuck up about whining and acoustic guitars ;)
2) most people who are emo are depressed due to a chemical imbalance in their brains. Depression is not a choice. Some take meds to balance these chemicals.
3) not all emos self harm or have an e.d. The emos that do self harm do it to ease pain. It's like being an alchoholic. It's an addiction. E.d.s are mental disorders having to do with being skinny.
4)for the last fucking time people EMO IS NOT A LOOK. Can you seriously look emotional by the type of shirt you wear (the answer is no). Somebody could listen to screamo or self harm or be depressed and shop at American eagle.
5) 80% of emos aren't doing this for fucking attention. As I said earlier if they dress normal, smile, and hide their scars how the fuck would that be asking for attention. And the other 20% that are waiting for some hot guy to kiss your scars and sweep you off your feet and to bask in the attention of others... STOP. you're giving everyone else a bad rep. It's not cute.

Get the emo it upmug. Emo Hair - There is a long story behing emo hair. I will tell it if u dont mind. Some random suicidal kid was to chicken shit to kill himself. So he was always telling the people near him how he felt. He let his hair grow long then one day decided to go get it cut. He sat down in the barbers chair and started telling his storys. The barbor after the first cut got tired of his crapie stoies so he gouged out his eyes with the sizors. The barbor continued to cut the boys hair blind. And that is how emo hair came about. :P

Get the emomug. Emo hair is hair with the bangs swept across the forehead. It's a long, choppy, layered style that is sometimes spiky in the back. It's often multiple colors but not always. It's a pretty awesome look for people with the right face shape.
