Location Dating

Dating someone just because of where they live, and/or are from. Usually to have a place to stay, or a reason to visit said town. Common among photographers, skiers, and outdoor types.

Guy: She's perfect, and she's from this town in northern Idaho where I've been wanting to go shoot forever.

Friend: So basically you're just location dating?

When a person is rejected so they try to get pity from their crush in order for them to date them out of it

Girl: sorry i don't want to date you
Boy: please date me i'll be broken without you :'(
Girl: well ok then
The girl pitys the guy so they are now involved in pity dating due to the guy

silent date

When two people go out and agree not to say a word to each other and as few words to other people as possible especially when your date is in ear shot. The goal is to communicate non verbally with lots of eye contact, body language, and physical contact. Also no phones allowed.

We went on a silent date and I've never felt so close and in-tune with someone like that before.
