A band that is hated for being good. Its also rather ironic how half the definitions here portray their fans as people who hate people who don't like their music.

Hater: You suck ass you fag, you like My Chemical romance!
Fan: So we suck for liking music that you don't?
Hater: Yep.
Fan: By that logic, you like (insert other band) but i don't. Therefore you suck. Is that about right?
Hater: ...

a GREAT band im not to sure what type of music to say ther are thers some punk in there but i wouldn't say ther were a full on punk band but i also don't think they are emo as alot of people seem to say they are they have a kind theatrical sound... but yer anyways

a KICK ASS band from New Jersey a lot of people say that MCR is emo. They arn't 'emo' they never claimed to being 'emo' and people are like 'oh mcr? there emo because the sing abouit suicide and death.' they speak the truth and that is not emo mcr is mcr nothing more

My Chemical Romance

A brilliant band, what makes them any different from another band getting famous? do you persecute other bands for calling themselves "pop punk" what's wrong with that? if they are, then that's what they are. stop being stupid, and petty and comparing them to bands like "the beatles" or "the ramones" their time has come and gone. deal with it. they're a completely different genre. music changes. two years ago, i bet you lot out there hadn't even heard of "emo" so stop acting like pretentious pricks, and get back to whatever you were doing before you decided to criticise this. I know, what you're all thinking, why am i commenting on here? because i'm tired of hearing the same crap over and over again EVERYWHERE not just here on this dictonary. and also because i got tired of my english essay. so give them a break, look at all the fans they have. they've got to be doing something right. I bet you lot out there criticising them, wouldn't get as much publicity as they have in the past two months, in ten years if you tried.
