The Canceled

You need to find out who's buying up all these cancelled people and paying them to say all of that.
Hym "The canceled all espouse the same rhetoric. 'Spiritual war,' 'attack on our institutions,' 'protect the children,' who is paying these motherfuckers to go around and say this shit? It's Dr. Phil, Rosanne Barr, the entire non-shit-lib half of the internet is doing it. Where is that coming from? Isn't that bizarre to watch? Somebody has got to be paying them. All of these people have been canceled for some form of social impurity. All of them are people I've named. Somebody has got to be bank rolling it. They all rebrand and it's all this 'spiritual war against the woke' bullshit to pollute the political landscape and prevent actual discourse about the things that are actually happening. Like the thing that is actually happening to me. I'm going to murder a kid if I'm not provided with recourse for this. No amount of doing what you're doing is going to is going to get me to accept living like this."

Theory of the Cancellation of the Future

A critical theory proposing that contemporary society—through a combination of ecological dread, economic precarity, cultural nostalgia, and technological saturation—has lost its capacity to imagine a collective future worth striving for. The future is “cancelled” not because time stops, but because the narratives that once gave it shape (progress, utopia, generational improvement) have collapsed. What remains are recycled pasts, apocalyptic forecasts, or endless presentism. The theory explains why cultural production fixates on reboots and nostalgia, why politics retreats to safety rather than aspiration, and why even visions of technological salvation feel more like survival than flourishing.
Example: “Her generation couldn’t imagine buying a house, retiring, or even a stable climate—theory of the cancellation of the future, where the horizon has shrunk to next month’s paycheck.”

Cancel the clown

A desperate and somewhat dishonest technique parents use in which the parent announces that, due to poor behaviour, they’ve had to cancel an exciting event or activity they’d had planned. The parent, however, never actually planned the event in the first place.
That’s it,” the mom told her misbehaving children, “I had to cancel the clown I’d booked for this afternoon!”

Cancel the Breadsticks

Phrase originated in Phoenix, Arizona. This saying applies when one has decided to pursue a course of action that differs from what was previously planned. It also applies when changing the subject of a conversation that has either been interrupted by someone whom you don't want included in the conversation or that has become uninteresting to one of the parties.
- "Yo, that girl Shelly is crazy... did you hear what went on between her and Mark?

- "Nah man let's hear it."

- "It's crazy man, over the weekend..."

<One member of the conversation sees Shelly approaching>

- "Whoa. Cancel the breadsticks on that one."

Cancel the Payment

When your one night stand forgets the condom and the pull out method doesn't work so you have to shamefully buy Plan B at a scary gas station before the other person wakes up
That hookup was embarrassing, the sex wasn't even good and I had to cancel the payment in the morning
