Whiskey Tango
There is a sophisticated psychology behind Whiskey Tango and those that grasp it’s root can be liberated and free from societal expectations. At it’s face value, Whiskey Tango appears to be a derogatory reference. It’s origin stems from a coded identifier using the NATO phonetic alphabet for the letters WT which references “White Trash”; BUT “Whiskey Tango” is more than that.
Whiskey Tango Life is applied to a lifestyle or activity and not the adjective stereo type of a person. It is a freedom that transcends socioeconomic and racial boundaries (you don’t have to be white to be whiskey tango). Whiskey Tango is who we are in our simplest form that makes us happy without judgement or conforming to what society thinks we are or should do. It’s in all of us and we can define it differently for each one of us and each person has THEIR own definition. It is an acceptance of imperfection and an understanding that what we like to do or to be ourselves in a way that may not be what someone expects from us. We all have our Whiskey Tango moment and it is usually when we are having the most fun we’ve ever had! The good times with family and friends. It is to be American and the Right to Pursue Happiness! We all have a trashy side. A classy trashy side.
Accept it, Embrace it, and Live it! It’s ok. Be yourself, be free, and be Whiskey Tango. Love of self and The Whiskey Tango Life!
