Scalpers

The reason a lot of ordinary items become so expensive. Such as graphics cards, video games, tickets to sports games, etc. Lowlife assholes who can't get a job so instead resort to buying out stocks of highly wanted items to price gouge for them as they are now the only source of said product.
Fucking scalpers ended up making the RTX 3080 way too expensive for me to afford, so I had to settle on an RTX 3060 Ti instead...

Scalper Bumping

A term used to describe the accidental displacement of unsavory characters from a trading card restock to prevent them from gobbling up boxes meant for the masses. A heroic move, derived from a form of vigilantism. Found mostly in the aisles of Targets and Wal-Marts
There was someone camping out and waiting for a Pokemon restock, once the vendor arrived, two of us started scalper bumping to make sure the kids waiting could be able to get some Pokemon cards

scalper

Anyone who is ahead of you in a line for an in-store preorder or restock.

And/or, anyone who lines up earlier than what is deemed 'normal' or 'sensible'.

Anyone who is able to get their hands on a product that someone else might have struggled to acquire.

And/or anyone who takes away inventory for a product that should be going to an entitled group, ie: toys from children.
I got to Gamestop four hours before opening and there were 25 scalpers ahead of me lined up already!

These scalpers are taking everything I just wanted to get these cards for my unborn 2 mo child!

I was walking into the store and saw a older guy with no kids walking out with the last two boxes, what a scalper!
