Demotivational Posters

pictures easily found on the internet by googling "demotivational posters". The posters are composed of a picture (often funny looking, frightening, or disturbing) surrounded by a rather thick black border, and underneath the picture, in the border there is a title for the "poster" that has something to do with the picture, and underneath the title is some kind of phrase that goes into more detail than the title and makes sense of the picture in terms of what point the creator was trying to get across.

"Hey what are you doing?"

"I'm making Demotivational Posters! Here check one out"

"Oh dude that is so true! if you don't hit that jailbait, somebody else will!!"

poser punk

People who think that they are punks but are really just trying to be. The mistake they make is to try to become a punk. Punks are all about not trying to be anything and following your own rules. there is no fashion code to being a punk. there are no rules as to what bands you have to listen to. GC and Simple Plan are ruining Punk because they are posers. One popular band comes out that wears black trenchcoats and spiky hair and nail polish and tatoos come out, and people assume they are punks. these bands are mis-representing themselves and the punk community. people are getting the wrong idea of what punk is.

poser punk: shops at hot topic, wears label shirts;vans, ae,etc. follows any hint of a fashion trend, wears a shirt that says punk on it, thinks all punk is about is breaking rules and acting badass.
real punk: someone true to who they are, who doesn't take any crap from anyone, who recognizes the flaws of society, who isn't afraid to be unique and wouldn't be caught dead being called a label.

stoner poser

Not to be confused with somebody who has only done it once or twice, a stoner poser is someone who tries to seem rebellious by bragging about smoking and rarely talks about anything that dosen't have to do with smoking. These guys smoke once a month, maybe, and think they are hardasses. Most of them mooch bud off of one or a group of people and never consistently pay. You can spot a stoner poser by their bob marley apparel and rasta gear.

poster friends

1. Fake friends - act like they care, they don't.
You might have some stuff in common and talk them, but only because there is no one else to talk to. Once someone better comes along you'll leave your poster friends behind because after all, they weren't your friends to begin with.
2. Like a poster, you'll been seen with them in a picture but their not actually there for you when you need them.
3. Someone your seen with but they don't mean anything to you.

"I only eat lunch with my poster friends because I havn't found where I fit in yet."

poser goth/punk

Someone who labels themselves goth and or punk; yet doesn't know the true meaning of goth/punk. They usually just label themselves that because they think it makes them "cool".

poser goth/punk:"I'm goth. I listen to my chemical romance. I hate my life. And I wear black clothes cause it makes me look goth."

Or

poser goth/punk:"I'm punk. I listen to green day. I wear eyeliner like billie joe cause it makes me look punk."
