The act of eating food off of ones own belly. Usually laying on a couch or in bed while doing so.

Look at Brian over there just ottering on the floor; too lazy to even eat at the table.

The act of travelling away from ones home in search of previously unkown drinking establishments. Only turning back towards home when last orders are called.

The term "Ottering" is derived from the real ale "Otter" which was discovered on the first ever trip in 2009
