מַשְׁחִיתוֹן (Mashchiton)

Definition:

A Hebrew neologism meaning “a built-in sabotage device” — the kind of sneaky little component designed to fail after a certain time, just so your printer dies two days after warranty. Equivalent to the Czech kurvítko, a slang term for planned obsolescence.
Origin:

From the Hebrew root שׁ־ח־ת (to corrupt, ruin) + the suffix -וֹן, commonly used for devices or tools (e.g., מחשבון – calculator, שלטון – remote control). Invented as a playful yet biting critique of modern consumer tech.
My toaster broke again. Must be the מַשְׁחִיתוֹן (Mashchiton) doing its job.
