Chappelle show skit that satirizes a situation where a person decides to act on impulse or acts uninhibited by social mores or norms (i.e. "keeping it real") which usually leads to adverse and often times unexpected results.

When keeping it real goes wrong in a board meeting at your corporate job when someone mimics, coopts, or imitates your culture in a condescending way and seeks your affirmation in doing so. (i.e. "Give me some skin, dawg"). Also referred to as "actin' your color"

Keedan

Despite his goodlooking athleticness, he has a deeper side of him. He’ll open up to you over time, but you need to put in an effort to ask questions. He’s one of the funniest people you’ll ever meet. He knows his Marvel and politics, and sometimes will make you feel stupid with all of his knowledge on random things. Bring up any topic and he can talk about it. He’s not afraid to share his opinions and likes the attention. He truly cares, and will do small sweet things to show it. Care for him, joke with him, give him a chance. He’s great, I promise.

Person B-“ You just need to get to know him. He’s really cool, accually.”
