The best SPORT in the world! Well known for being played on ice with a hockey stick and puck.
Until recently, it was mostly played in the colder countries and far North America (areas of the US taken over by Canadians). However, America has yielded some of the best players and teams. See Mike Modano, Bill Guerin, and Chris Chelios. Also see the Dallas Stars and Detroit Red Wings.
Hockey has also moved into the deep south (areas that don't really know what ice is) and turned many towns into hockey towns. See Dallas, Atlanta, San Jose, Phoenix, and Nashville.

me: Did you see the game last night (could only be talking about hockey)
co-worker: Yeah, the Stars kicked ass!
me: You know it. I think we could be a Stanley Cup contender this year.
co-worker: Hell yeah!

field hockey goalie

one of the awesome 11 players playing field hockey. very brave and courageous for let those rock hard balls fly at her. and no it is not just about stopping the ball it is about breaking the other teams confidence level. Definatly one of the coolest players on the field but she also realizes that she could not do it without her team mates and at the end of the game the teammates should run to he so that she is part of it. She out of all the players deserves the most respect she has one of the hardest jobs. when the goalie closes her eyes she sees the ball go into goal when a field player closes their eyes they just see the ball go bye them to someone else.

Yeshiva League Hockey

Yeshiva League Hockey is the floor hockey that has been played in majority of tri-state Jewish high schools for many years. This sport is played like ice hockey except on a wooden floor with a orange rubber ball rather then a puck. All the good players use an HM30 and warrior sticks. Many players use lacrosse type gloves made by the brand STX or WARRIOR. Many people spend too much money on this sport which they have no future in. Previously the championship winners varied but nowadays it’s mainly TABC and Frisch. These two teams are rigged and will keep winning forever. Many consider this sport to be for babies and not real hockey. Being cool in the Yeshiva League requires you to be on this team in your school.
