TriBeCa Film Festival 

The TriBeCa Film Festival, pioneered by Nicole Bartelme, has screened over 1300 films from over 80 countries since its first festival in 2002.

The TriBeCa Film Festival's initial focus encompassed films with a humanitarian message, great sound tracks and film technology. With organizer Jane Rosenthal at the helm the festival has grown to encompass films of many genres: from blockbusters to documentaries.

Scott Baio Film Festival 

An event or gathering that elicits an expectation of low attendance or no enthusiasm. Coined by Psychology Today writer Jeff Pearlman.

"Are you going to John's party?"
"No, I hear it's going to be a total Scott Baio film festival. He only ever has Bud Light and old Doritoes at his parties."

A film genre popularized by film director Michael Bay, and his Transformers films.

A Michael Bay Film typically consists of over-the-top action, a weak story (usually with plot-holes), and a hot girl.

Guy 1: Did you see that new movie, Transformers?

Guy 2: Yeah, it was definitely a Michael Bay Film.

Guy 1: Huh?

Guy2: A bad story, cool special effects and action, and Megan Fox.
