white feminism

A brand of feminism centered around the ideals and struggles of primarily white women. While not outright exclusive, its failure to consider other women and its preoccupation with Western standards and the problems faced by the "average woman" is often alienating to women of color, non-straight women, trans women, and women belonging to religious or cultural minorities.
"Muslim women shouldn't be allowed to wear hijabs or burqas because they are oppressive."
"That sounds like white feminism. Many Muslim women wear them of their own free will."

Toxic Feminism

An embodiment of double standards and misandry, that is void of self reflection. Where Third Wave Feminists believe it is OK to behave rudely towards the opposite sex for no reason other than the fact they are male. They condemn what they deem as "toxically masculine" behaviors among men such as competitiveness, love for physical activities, and emotional stoicism. Ironically, they see no fault with their juvenilely privileged and sheltered female behaviors, such as spreading gossip, commenting on one another's clothing, oggling hot guys, and overreacting emotionally to trivial things.
- Guy: "I've been practicing Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu lately. I love it! It keeps me on an even keel."

- Girl1: "OMG, that is so typical male toxic behavior. Why do you guys always have to be so violent?"

- Girl2: "Oh Girl1, I love your hair! It matches perfectly with what you're wearing!"

- Girl1: "Oh Thank you so much! I like how your earrings match with you shoes and purse! It reminds me of that model on page 23 in Cosmo. OMG by the way, have you seen that guy at the pool last week? He is so yummy!"

- Guy: "Er.....girls, why should me, as a guy, enjoying my martial arts practice be condemned as 'toxic masculinity' while childish gossiping and outfit-chatting is considered ok?

- Girl1: "It's because you're a man, and your male behavior is forceful and condemnable."

- Guy: "Talk about toxic feminism..."

BuzzFeed Feminism

The type of feminism that BuzzFeed sells online, all the while making the actual feminists (who have their head on straight and are trying to do actual good) look really bad. These people are also referred to as Feminazis and SJW Feminists
I hate how BuzzFeed Feminism draw all the attention and make the actual feminist movement look like a bunch of SJWs who were locked in a cage for 2 or 3 years.

first wave feminism

n. Late 19th and early 20th century movement to gain political rights for women. Includes: voting rights and property rights. Synonymous with real feminism
A: I'm a feminist.
B: Maybe, but you've hijacked the term. I'm a real feminist, first wave feminism. I believe in equal rights for women, but unlike you, I don't blame society for my hardships. I work hard and it shows in my performance. I'm respected by my male peers and control my own life. You play the victim and blame others for being offended.
A: RAPE APOLOGIST!

Tumblr Feminism

The school of feminist thought that, instead of fighting for gender equality, is more concerned with seeming liberal and feminist and not actually *being* feminist. This is often achieved through strict internet doctrine and openly ostracizing those who do not agree with them. One other symptom of Tumblr Feminism is that, when asked to explain their opinions, sufferers will get angry and storm off rather than actually answering the question. Similar words and ideas include Feminist Nazi, fringe feminists, and feminventing.

Origin: The term "Tumblr Feminism" derives from the social media site Tumblr, which is one of the major gathering places of those with such beliefs. However, Tumblr is not the only site this phenomenon is present, and likewise, not all feminists on Tumblr are true "Tumblr Feminists."
"She told me that I was anti-woman for thinking strip clubs are wrong. Don't strip clubs actually contribute more to the objectifying of women, which is detrimental to female rights?"
"Yeah, don't put much stock into what she says about the matter. She's a Tumblr Femininist."

"Because she believes in Tumblr Feminism, she is against all forms of shaming. Unless, of course, it involves shaming someone who has a different opinion than her."
