anti-doxing 

To search for and publish information that proves or reveals that a user's publicly submitted data used false information or was intentionally misleading.

The term was coined by conservative media personality Steven Crowder who travelled to the physical locations of addresses listed on voter registration cards in Nevada and Michigan.

Steven Crowder claimed his effort had revealed that numerous registrations used fake addresses and described his efforts as "Anti-Doxing."

A practice across the internet. Only hackers go this far, if they go beyond DDOSing.

Hacker: hey Boi, I am doxing u. I now know your ip address. RUN :)
Police: *are not aware of what is happening and continue eating donuts*
Boi: Ok i ran
Hacker: not even ur mobile device is safe
Police: The jig is up, Boi. u are gettign arrested for multiple crimes
Boi: nonononoononono a hacker started Doxing me.
Police: oh ok
Hacker: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
