bogget

A mythical creature living in, near or around the Blue Anchor of Helston, Cornwall. Similar to a pixi or the like. According to "Bob" Robert Standing, who is a well known face in the local area, regular's at the small pub 'The Blue Anchor' used to fool people into believeing they went 'bogget' hunting, and would convince small groups of people to meet up for the 'bogget hunt' - Needless to say, these were usually clueless tourists!

Regular - We're going bogget hunting tonight, wanna come?
Tourist - What's a bogget?
Regular - Well, it's a bit like a pixi.

A phrase used by car enthusiasts. It means the current owner of the car in question has paid for and/or done all the work to it themselves, rather than buying it pre-modified or renovated by a previous owner. This commands great respect by fellow enthusiasts.

Fancy, upscale, expensive - relating to "bourgeoisie." Can be used as an adjective: "You dressed so bouge today." or as a verb "You need to bouge up this party a bit."

Derived from an advertisement for Orange in the United Kingdom, 'I just bought broccoli, lol!' is a deliberate satire on when people write stupid, unnecessary things as their Facebook status or Twitter tweet. Can be shortened to IJBBLOL.
